Dove hunting in south Georgia is a social sport – great for Corporate Retreats, Family Reunions or to bring a large group of your best customers or friends. Dove hunting groups can reserve both lodges to accommodate up to 22 persons. Large mouth bass fishing on one of our private ponds, skeet shooting competition on our ASA regulation skeet range and horseback riding on the property make great activity additions prior to an afternoon dove hunt. Special Pine Hill Plantation European-Style Pheasant Tower Shoot & South Georgia Dove Hunt Events – Sept 18, Oct 9 and Oct 16, 2010

• Arrive Friday evening after 4:00 PM on 9/17, 10/8 or 10/15
  • Friday dinner is on your own. We recommend Big Jim’s Oyster Bar or the Pond House located just a few miles away.
  • Alternatively, arrive Saturday AM 9/18, 10/9 or 10/16
• Saturday morning continental breakfast
• Enjoy shooting on our ASA Skeet Range – free skeet, bring your own shells or shells available at $12.50 per box
• Experience the challenge of a European Pheasant Tower Shoot – Add $250 per person
  • 12 to 24 Shooters at 12 Stations, each located on 150 yard radius from 30’ high release tower. The 12 stations are positioned in a circle around the tower, like the numbers on a clock.
  • Shoot in rotation from each of 12 Stations. Each shooter shoots from each station around the circle to afford equal opportunity to all.
  • 10 Pheasants per shooter are released over the entire shoot.
  • Shooting positions are situated to allow only overhead shooting at pheasants that have a flying start of 100 yards or more.
  • Most shots are from 40 to 60 yards long… so pick your chokes and your shot size accordingly
  • Pheasants are released two at a time. If you think you can kill a bird as it flies by… shoot at it.
  • We will take a break half way through the shoot.
  • All downed birds are shared equally among the shooters

  • A Georgia state hunting license is required and a single day license can be purchased locally at $3.50 for GA residents and at $20.00 for non-residents.
